When we visit your home for a free water test, we don’t just look at taste and clarity. Our testing identifies the hidden issues that could be affecting your health, comfort, and home. Here are some of the most common things we check:

Chlorine & Chloramines

Often added for disinfection, these chemicals can leave water with unpleasant tastes and odors while irritating skin and hair.

Iron

Iron in water can stain sinks, tubs, laundry, and even damage pipes and appliances over time.

pH Levels

Water that is too acidic or too alkaline can corrode plumbing, affect water pressure, and alter the taste of food and drinks.

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)

This measures all the minerals, metals, and salts in your water. High TDS can cause scaling, poor taste, and faster wear on appliances.

Hydrogen Sulfide (Sulfur Smell)

That “rotten egg” odor is common in well water and can be unpleasant throughout the home.

Nitrates & Other Contaminants

Elevated nitrate levels can be a health risk, especially for children and infants. We also test for additional impurities as needed, including bacteria, lead, and PFAS where recommended.
